Blizzard has delayed the debut of the new ranking gameplay. Diablo 4 fans were hoping for the debut of a new challenge at the beginning of the 3rd season, but even the much later release date for the Ladders turned out to be premature for the developers. Although the exact date is not known, it is expected to occur within the third season.
The previous date was announced during one of the recent podcasts, but it has now been stated that the Blizzard Entertainment team needs more time to perfect the Ladders. It has also been promised that a new date, as well as further details about this update, will be shared “soon.” Just to recap: Ladders will be a predetermined dungeon where the layout and the monsters inside will change every week.
Players will be able to compete in different categories (separate for each class and team) for rankings and exclusive rewards. After the initial disappointment with Treasure Vaults, many players were eagerly awaiting this new game mode. Now, internet users are expressing disappointment over the delay.
