The authors of Satisfactory have announced that the game will finally leave early access this year. They also boasted impressive sales figures.
The game has been available in early access since 2019, and now the creators have announced that they are finally finishing work on version 1.0. Coffee Stain Studios has announced that Satisfactory will leave early access this year, but unfortunately, a more specific date has not been provided.
The authors are currently fully focused on version 1.0 and therefore we should not expect any major updates until its release. The creators also boasted that the game’s sales in early access have exceeded 5.5 million copies.
Consequently, they have made sure it will keep players engaged for a long time. One patch, for example, moved the production to the Unreal Engine 5, resulting in a plethora of graphical improvements.
The building schematics were also changed based on player feedback, more threatening enemy variants were added, and the gameplay configuration options were expanded to better tailor it to our preferences. Satisfactory debuted in March 2019 on the Epic Games Store, and in June 2020, the game arrived on Steam.
The game has received high acclaim, with 97% of reviews praising the title on the latter platform, which is classified as an “overwhelmingly positive” reception of the project.
