The patch fixes some bugs, increases game performance, and also improves the user interface. The production was very well received, but as befits a title in early access, some of its elements leave a lot to be desired. This approach did not appeal to many players, so the developers intend to change it.
It is not yet known exactly what form this system will take, but the creators promise a few things:
– Players will receive the option to independently complete each adventure. – Task respawn times will be reduced to facilitate multiple playthroughs of favorite adventures. – The quest log will be improved to provide detailed information on mission progress for both the entire server and individual players.
– At the same time, the authors emphasize that the old system will not disappear, as many people liked it. New solutions will simply be an additional option available to players with different preferences. The creators developed the production with a small group of players in mind, who play together in one session.
The system also allows players to join the fun late (e.g. they don’t have to go through tutorial missions) and makes it not obligatory to complete each quest individually. These are all good reasons, but the creators admit that not everyone liked them, and therefore, they decided to offer alternative options.
*Enshrouded* debuted on Steam Early Access on January 24th of this year.
