Adam Holisky recently left Blizzard, but not before taking advantage of his departure by claiming “unused” World of Warcraft subscription keys, ensuring himself nearly 10 years of free gameplay. Unfortunately, he is just one of many employees who have been let go by the company. One of the laid-off WoW creators claimed the unused “bonuses.” However, when he was in the company to pick up the keys, the key generation website couldn’t handle the load.
It’s possible that he was not the only one with this idea at the same time. Holisky, it seems, is not ready to give up on Blizzard games just yet. However, the same cannot be said for the industry as a whole. Unless he comes across a “unicorn,” as he bluntly referred to job offers that could be attractive to him.
